At ENTERPRISE (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), customer satisfaction is important to us. This Refund Policy explains the terms and conditions regarding cancellations, refunds, deposits, and charges related to vehicle rentals.

By booking or renting a vehicle from ENTERPRISE, you agree to the following refund terms.

1. Reservation Cancellation Policy

Standard Reservations

Customers may cancel a reservation before the scheduled pickup time.

  • Cancellation more than 24 hours before pickup: Full refund (if prepaid)

  • Cancellation within 24 hours of pickup: A cancellation fee may apply

  • No-show reservations: Refunds may not be provided

Refund eligibility may vary depending on the booking type, rental agreement, promotional offer, or vehicle category.

2. Prepaid Reservations

For prepaid vehicle bookings:

  • Eligible refunds will be processed to the original payment method

  • Processing time may vary depending on the financial institution (typically 5–10 business days)

  • Certain discounted or promotional reservations may be non-refundable

3. Security Deposits

A refundable security deposit may be required at the time of rental.

Deposits may be partially or fully withheld for reasons including:

  • Vehicle damage

  • Excessive cleaning fees

  • Missing accessories or equipment

  • Traffic tickets, toll violations, or parking fines

  • Fuel replacement charges

  • Unauthorized late returns or contract violations

If no additional charges apply, eligible deposits are typically returned after vehicle inspection.

4. Early Return Policy

Returning a vehicle earlier than the agreed rental period may or may not qualify for a refund.

ENTERPRISE reserves the right to adjust pricing based on:

  • Rental duration changes

  • Promotional pricing restrictions

  • Vehicle class availability

No guarantee is made for partial refunds on unused rental days.

5. Late Return Charges

Late returns may result in additional fees and are not eligible for refunds.

Additional rental charges may apply if the vehicle is returned after the agreed return time.

6. Vehicle Issues or Service Interruptions

If a rented vehicle experiences a verified mechanical issue caused by no fault of the renter, ENTERPRISE may, at its discretion:

  • Provide a replacement vehicle

  • Offer a partial refund or credit

  • Adjust rental charges where appropriate

Refunds will not be issued for issues caused by misuse, negligence, or violation of rental terms.

7. Non-Refundable Fees

The following may be non-refundable:

  • Administrative fees

  • Booking or reservation fees

  • Insurance add-ons (subject to policy terms)

  • Optional services or upgrades already used

8. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at booking or rental.

Refund timing depends on:

  • Bank processing times

  • Payment processor timelines

  • Card issuer policies

9. Right to Refuse Refund

ENTERPRISE reserves the right to deny refund requests in cases involving:

  • Fraudulent activity

  • Violation of rental agreements

  • Vehicle misuse or negligence

  • False claims or abuse of refund requests
